Gov. Healey blasts shutdown compromise saying, 'I don't understand the deal'
Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey says the deal between Senate Republicans and a group of Democrats to re-open the government is ill-advised. She argues the compromise doesn't sufficiently protect the enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies that Democrats have made the centerpiece of the shutdown fight.
Speaking on WBUR's All Things Considered, Healey also shares what SNAP recipients in Massachusetts need to know in the coming weeks.
