Is it fair for the MBTA to charge $80 for a train ride to the World Cup?
This summer, the MBTA's commuter rail will shuttle tens of thousands of fans to FIFA men's World Cup games in Foxborough. But the train tickets will be pricey: $80 for a round trip, quadruple the normal cost.
