Local author and ornithologist Scott Weidensaul talks about bird conservation success stories in his new book: "The Return of the Oystercatcher: Saving Birds to Save the Planet."

Weidensaul talks with WBUR Morning Edition host Tiziana Dearing about the successful rebounds of local birds, like piping plovers and oystercatchers, and the challenges that remain.
