CitySpace Summer Camp: Art Week!

We are no longer accepting submissions for this camp activity. Watch our recap here.

WBUR CitySpace Summer Camp is a six-week series providing content to families with school age children. Each week we provide an assignment to tackle, and families submit photos or a video of their completed project. Every entry is a chance to make it into our weekly montage video published every Friday. Learn more about the theme for each week and how to submit entries below!

Show Us Your Picasso!

Close your eyes and think about your favorite painting. Or maybe it’s a photograph. Or even a monument or sculpture. Got it? Now recreate it and put your own personal twist on it! You can use any materials you have at home to make your work of art.

Camp Counselors Soyoung and Abby from Harvard Arts Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts Boston give more detail and show works of art that could unlock your creativity in the video below.

WBUR CitySpace Summer Camp's art week is brought to you in partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts, Harvard Art MuseumsHistoric New England and deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum.
