WBUR is proud to be a media sponsor of The Moth, an acclaimed non-profit organization dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling. The Moth StorySLAM is an open-mic storytelling competition, open to anyone with a five-minute story to share on the night’s theme. Come tell a story, or just enjoy the show!

The theme of this StorySLAM is "Influence." Prepare a five-minute story about being strong-armed or strong-willed: the tantalizing force of power or the push of peer pressure. The good, the bad, leverage bought and sold — tell us about sparking a movement or suffering the consequences of being under the spell.

A limited number of tickets will be available to purchase at the door for tonight's event.
