WBUR is proud to be a media partner of The Moth, an acclaimed non-profit organization dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling. At The Moth GrandSLAM, winners from the past StorySLAM competitions engage in a battle of wits and words to determine The Boston GrandSLAM Story Champion.
The theme of this GrandSLAM is "Crash Course." Listen as ten StorySLAM champs tell stories of an intense course of study, necessitated by sudden change. Collisions of all manner — big or small. On-the-spot training! Changes in barometric pressure, attitudes, legal status, romantic commitments, job situations. Matters of health, wealth, wisdom! An unfamiliar situation they must contend with….
