Curated Cuisine is a monthly series examining all things edible, from the chefs cooking the food to the writers reviewing the recipes. Meet the people shaping the food industry, both local and national and enjoy a post-show bite inspired by the conversation.

Calling all parents of young children! If you’ve experienced battles at the dinner table trying to motivate your kids to eat new foods this is the conversation for you! Jack Zhang, chef, foodie and full-time/stay-at-home Dad, took up the challenge of teaching his two-year-old son Levi to love all kinds of food. His videos preparing meals and feeding Levi went viral and now all those recipes are featured in a new cookbook, “Cultivating a Curious Palate.”

Zhang discussed discuss the book and Cooking for Levi with Radio Boston executive producer Yasmin Amer. They were joined by Levi and Amer's son Idris for a special food demo during the conversation.

This event is co-produced by Boston University Metropolitan College Programs in Food & Wine.
