826 Boston is a nonprofit youth writing and publishing organization that empowers traditionally underserved students ages 6-18 to find their voices, tell their stories and gain communication skills to succeed in school and in life.

Night of 1,000 Stories celebrates the many incredible stories of 826 Boston student authors and aims to raise critical funds for 826 Boston’s youth writing and tutoring programs.

You’ll enjoy stories from 826 Boston student authors, food and drinks, and get a chance to hear from featured speaker Desmond Hall. Hall is the author of the gritty YA novel "Your Corner Dark," which confronts the harsh realities of gang life in Jamaica and how far a teen is willing to go for family.
