After years of dating, Britain's Prince William and his longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton are engaged to marry. Prince William, who is second in line to the throne in Britain, proposed while the couple was on vacation in Kenya. The engagement breaks royal tradition because Middleton does not come from a royal background. Her father was an airline pilot and her mother a flight attendant. The two met eight years ago and are expected to live in North Wales, where William is stationed with the Royal Air Force.  We get an update from Naomi Grimley, of the BBC.

This segment aired on November 16, 2010.
