Wisconsin Voters Launch Historic Campaign To Recall Lawmakers
PlayWisconsin politics, already roiled by the partisan fight over collective bargaining rights, could be disrupted even further if voters succeed in efforts now underway to recall all 16 state lawmakers who are eligible for recalls this year.
Wisconsin law sets the bar high for recalls, so the expectation is that the recall efforts could funnel even more national political money to the state ahead of an anticipated battle over union rights in the 2012 presidential election.
