Monitor Group Responds To Questions About Contract With Libya

The Cambridge-based consulting firm, Monitor Group,  is defending its multimillion dollar contract with Libya's government between 2006 and 2008.  The firm says its goal was to help Libya reform its economy, but critics contend that they acted as a spin machine, trying to improve Gadhafi's image.  The Monitor group has launched an internal investigation into Monitor's work with Libya.

We speak with Eamonn Kelly, who is leading the investigation, he is a partner at Monitor Group.  We also hear from Libyan-American Mohamed Eljahmi, who levels some criticism at the Monitor Group.  Eljahmi's brother was a prominent Libyan dissident who died after he was imprisoned for criticizing Gadhafi.
