8 More U.S. Soldiers Killed In Afghanistan

Eight American troops on foot patrol in southern Afghanistan were killed in 2 consecutive blasts yesterday, according to NATO officials.

It was the deadliest day for coalition troops in Afghanistan since the April attack which also killed 8 American service members, and brought the total number of coalition troop casualties to 40 since the Taliban began its Spring offensive.
