What Does Your Plate Look Like?

This article is more than 8 years old.

The USDA replaced the much-criticized food pyramid last week with a plate to guide Americans' eating habits. The new "MyPlate" calls on Americans to fill half of their plates with fruits and vegetables and limit protein to about a quarter.

How close is your dinner plate to the new guide? Are at least half of your grains whole?

We want to see photos of your dinner plate to see how it compares to the USDA recommendations.

Post them on our Facebook page or email us at letters@hereandnow.org.
