'Gang of Six' Plan Gaining Steam

Thirteen days and counting until August 2nd, which is the day that President Obama says the government will no longer be able to pay all of its bills without an increase in its ability to borrow money.

And the so-called "Gang of Six" deficit-reduction plan that emerged on Capitol Hill yesterday is gaining steam as one way forward.

Janet Hook, congressional correspondent for the Wall Street Journal, told Here & Now's Monica Brady-Myerov that "Most members of Congress are befuddled, confused and anxious about a deal and whether a deal is possible... things sometimes get ugly before they get resolved."
