The main opposition group in Syria says other countries should arm the rebels, if President Bashar al-Assad refuses to bow to outside pressure being applied today in Tunis, site of an international conference called "The Friends Of Syria."

The government crackdown on the city of Homs rages on, and thousands of people were out on the streets across the country today in protest.
