The drug Oxycontin is a powerful medication prescribed by doctors to relieve pain. But it can also be highly addictive. It's an opioid capable of inducing a high like heroin. Addiction rates are particularly high amongst Canada's aboriginal or first nation communities.
The BBC's Linda Pressly reports from the isolated reserve of Fort Hope in northern Ontario where abuse of the drug is devastating the community.
