Republican Mitt Romney is trying shrug off a Washington Post report that he bullied a gay classmate in prep school.

A former classmate told the Post that Romney was incensed by another classmate's long hair and led a posse of students to cut the boy's hair as the boy screamed for help. The young man was thought to be  gay.

These accusations come at a time when there is heightened awareness of bullying and during a week when same sex marriage has been in the news.

Guest:

  • Rick Klein, senior Washington correspondent for ABC World News and co-host of the network's political web cast, "Top Line."

This segment aired on May 11, 2012.
