Last week, the U.S. Ambassador to Libya was killed in a violent protest against a U.S.-made film about the Prophet Muhammad. The attack has been blamed, by some, on radical Islamists. The BBC's Middle East Correspondent, Wyre Davies returned to Benghazi, the scene of the recent demonstrations and attacks on the U.S. embassy and reports on the country's transition to democracy.

This segment aired on September 18, 2012.
