Country Music Couple Finally Makes An Album Together
ResumeThey've been making music for years, but until now, country music singer-songwriters Kelly Willis and Bruce Robision, who are married and the parents of four kids, had never recorded a record together.
Both have recorded several solo albums and Robison has written hit songs for other artists, including the Dixie Chicks.
Their new album "Cheater's Game" proves the wait has been worth it.
The Austin American Statesman calls it a “near-perfect modern country record,” and it's a fixture on the Americana charts as the duo tours in support of the record.
Before a recent show in Boston, Willis and Robison stopped by the Here & Now studios to tell us why it took them so long to record an album together.
