Story Update: Man Found Not Guilty Of Killing Father

We have an update on a story we did last week.

Mother Jones reporter Mac McClelland told us about her schizophrenic cousin Houston, and his family's often fruitless attempt to get mental health services for him.

During a psychotic break, Houston murdered his father.

On Tuesday, a California jury determined Houston was not guilty, by reason of insanity. As a result of the verdict, he may finally get the help his family sought for him.
