Employers Add 195,000 Jobs, But Jobless Rate Unchanged05:04
PlayThe Labor Department reported this morning that employers added 195,000 jobs in June, more than estimated, but because more people are looking for work in an improving economy, the unemployment rate remained at 7.6 percent.
Some highlights of the report: U.S. manufacturing was hurt by weak overseas demand for American exports, but increased home construction helped push auto sales to their best first half since 2007.
