Is The U.S. Arming The Rebels In Syria?

While diplomatic efforts on Syria continue, there are conflicting stories about whether the U.S. is sending weapons to the opposition in Syria.

The Washington Post reports the CIA has been sending arms to the rebels over the last two weeks. But Gen. Salim Idriss, head of the rebel Supreme Military Council told NPR today that's not the case.

So where's the disconnect?
