NPR's Ron Elving joins Here & Now's Robin Young to discuss this week in politics:

  • Marilyn Tavenner, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, testifies before Congress tomorrow about the flawed Oct. 1 rollout of the Affordable Care Act's online health exchanges.
  • Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will testify on Wednesday, after declining to appear before Congress last week.
  • Over the weekend, another part of the computer system failed and an outside contractor was blamed for a problem with verifying the personal information of applicants.
  • Lawmakers resume budget negotiations this week, after a week off following the government shutdown earlier this month.
