Study: Teens Obtaining Medical Marijuana
Resume
A new federal survey measuring drug use and attitudes among U.S. high school students finds that "34 percent of marijuana-using 12th-graders living in states with medical marijuana laws say that one of the ways they obtain the drug is through someone else’s medical marijuana prescription."
The survey also reveals that marijuana use is on the rise nationwide, and increasing numbers of students — 60 percent of 12th graders — do not view regular use of the drug as harmful.
