Last week, a top aide to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie indicated evidence shows Christie knew about the George Washington Bridge lane closings as they were happening, contrary to the governor’s denial of knowledge of the plan.

Also last week, House Republicans unveiled a road map for an overhaul of the nation’s immigration system that calls for increased border security, improved U.S. law enforcement and a pathway to legal status – but not citizenship – for millions of Americans.
