Senate Expected To Pass Massive Farm Bill
ResumeLast week, the House of Representatives passed long-delayed farm legislation that makes cuts to food stamps, expands federal crop insurance, consolidates agricultural conservation programs and ends direct payments to farmers.
The Senate is expected to give final passage to the bill today, whereupon President Obama is expected to sign the rare, bipartisan accomplishment. Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson takes a closer look the legislation.
