Report: Obesity Rate Falls For Young Children

A study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has found that obesity rates among children 2 to 5 years old dropped by 43 percent between 2003 and 2012.

Public health officials are applauding the results, but the CDC also found that obesity among older children hasn't budged.

Dr. Robert Whittaker, a pediatrician and epidemiologist at Temple University joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson to make sense of the numbers.
