FDA Establishing Plan To Prevent Food Terrorism
PlayAlthough there have been few documented incidents of malicious contamination, safety experts at the Food and Drug Administration view terrorism as a significant threat that could have catastrophic consequences.
The FDA is in the process of establishing industry-wide regulations aimed at tightening up security — especially in the dairy industry, which is considered the most vulnerable to attack.
