After Mudslide, A Long Road To Normal

One month after the devastating landslide in Oso, Washington, residents are trying to resume everyday living. The landslide killed 41 people; four remain missing.

The mudslide also destroyed a highway between the towns of Oso and Darrington. Commutes that once took a few minutes now take hours.

From the Here & Now Contributors Network, Carolyn Adolph of KUOW reports this has affected not only how long it takes for people to get to work, but grocery supplies and the money in residents' pockets.
