Building Better Portable Classrooms

Last week we reported on the thousands of children who go to school each day in portable classrooms — those modular structures that have become an affordable solution to overcrowding for budget-strapped school districts.

But modular classrooms can be bad for students' performance and their health. One school in Seattle has started building better portables. From the Here & Now Contributors Network, Ashley Ahearn of KUOW reports.
