The Media’s Role In Edward Snowden’s Disclosure

Last night on NBC, Nightly News anchor Brian Williams sat down with Edward Snowden, in his first U.S. network television interview since leaking information about the U.S. government’s sweeping surveillance efforts.

Glenn Greenwald, the go-between journalist for Snowden and some of the newspapers that reported on Snowden’s disclosure, also joined in on the conversation.

In Greenwald's new book "No Place to Hide," he chronicles the events of the last year; however, the book has sparked some significant media controversy.
