The Federal Reserve meets today and tomorrow to chart out a course to end the bond-buying program known as quantitative easing.

The Fed has used the stimulus measure to prop up the U.S. economy, but as conditions improve, the Fed says it will change course.

With bond buying slowly moving to the rear view, the still unanswered question is what the Fed will do with short-term interest rates.

Chairwoman Janet Yellen will make an announcement Wednesday, and investors will be watching closely.

Diane Swonk, chief economist at Mesirow Financial, joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson to discuss what the Fed might do.
