Local Politics Dominate Midterm Elections

The midterm elections this year will determine whether the U.S. Senate stays Democratic or turns Republican.

But as pollsters Anna Greenberg and Kristen Soltis Anderson tell Here & Now's Robin Young, there are no nationally important issues driving voters' decisions.

Instead, the midterms are being waged on a smaller scale, with many local issues spurring individual races.
