'The Wonder Years,' Finally Out On DVD

The year was 1968, and Kevin Arnold was about to enter junior high school in the suburbs.

That, of course, is the premise of "The Wonder Years, " which followed Kevin and his family throughout his teenage years.

The show went off the air in 1993, five years after it started, but the hit sitcom is considered a precursor to shows like "Modern Family" and "The Goldbergs."

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson speaks to Fred Savage, the man who played Kevin as a child, about the show and its legacy, now that it's available on DVD.
