Reporter's Notebook: Back From Monrovia
ResumeNPR’s Global Health and Development Correspondent Jason Beaubien has just returned from his third trip to Liberia. He says it’s the first visit where it looked like international aid was actually coming together – there are actually enough beds at clinics, for example.
At the same time, he says there’s miscommunication between Ebola clinics and general hospitals – both fear taking in the wrong kind of patient.
Beaubien talks with Here & Now’s Robin Young about what he’s observed in his travels.
