New York City is receiving much less snow than forecast from the Blizzard of 2015, but coastal Massachusetts is being hit hard. Several people have been evacuated in the town of Scituate, after waves crashed through the front door of one home and four feet of sea water flooded the streets.

Town administrator Patricia Vinchesi has declared a state of emergency. She tells Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson that another high tide is expected at 5 p.m. Eastern, and until that recedes, officials won't be able to assess the extent of damage in town.
