Illinois' New Governor Goes After State Unions To Address Fiscal Woes

The state's new governor, Bruce Rauner, has offered a number of solutions - from terminating non-essential contracts to turning down thermostats.
But this week, ahead of today's State of the State address delivered at one, he angered union leaders and others by aggressively going after state employees in a letter to the General Assembly.
