Political Roundtable: Candidates Struggle To Stand Out As Trump Gains Speed

This week saw the introduction of yet another Republican candidate in the 2016 race for the presidency. But instead of focusing on Ohio Governor John Kasich, much of the election coverage went to Donald Trump. Not afraid to pull punches within his party (and even threaten to leave it for a third-party), Trump is shaking up the primary race.

In the field of Democrats, Hillary Clinton has not yet escaped controversy with two inspectors general seeking a inquiry over her private email account used while she was Secretary of State. Former Baltimore Mayor Martin O'Malley faced his own controversy when he attended the progressive Netroots Conference and said "All lives matter," upsetting liberal demonstrators.
