Moscow has been conducting airstrikes for nearly a week in Syria, and now the Kremlin says it's ready to introduce ground forces into the fight.

President Vladimir Putin says it is targeting ISIS and other extremist groups, but the U.S. believes the real targets are rebels trying to oust Russia's ally, President Bashar al-Assad.
