Mission control erupted into cheers Monday night as SpaceX successfully landed its Falcon 9 Rocket at Cape Canaveral, Florida. The private space corporation led by tech mogul Elon Musk made history when the rocket touched down as the first orbital-class booster to land upright on solid ground. It is a big step toward reusable rockets and a much-needed win just six months after one of the company's Falcon 9 rockets exploded.
