On Here & Now's election road trip, host Robin Young visited Brooklyn, where both Democratic candidates have headquarters. In a small space off a side street in the Gowanus neighborhood, Sanders volunteers organized at the campaign headquarters, putting stickers on fliers and preparing for other get-out-the-vote events.

In a large office building in Brooklyn Heights are the Clinton campaign headquarters, which also serve as the campaign's national headquarters. Volunteers there made phone calls to prospective voters and watched a large TV tuned to political news.
