Imagine working on medical or scientific research for five years, finally submitting your findings to a journal for publication, and then not just having it rejected, but also finding later that someone who had reviewed that research actually stole it and published it under their own name.

That happened recently to Dr. Michael Dansinger of Tufts Medical Center. Here & Now's Robin Young talks with Ivan Oransky (@ivanoransky), columnist at STAT and co-founder of Retraction Watch, about how such a theft was possible.
