Cursive writing has all but disappeared from many grade schools. But at one Denver school, cursive is seen as an essential skill — and brain science backs that up.

Jenny Brundin (@CPRBrundin) from Here & Now contributor Colorado Public Radio visited the Stanley British Primary School to check in with three students who just claimed first, second and third prize in a national cursive writing contest.

This segment aired on June 15, 2017.
