In hour one of Here & Now's Oct. 4, 2017 full broadcast, we check in with Las Vegas massacre survivor David Holley, a 26-year-old mechanic from Victorville, California, who was attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival with his girlfriend when the shooting happened. Also, filmmaker and activist Michael Moore gained notoriety for such documentaries as "Bowling for Columbine" and "Fahrenheit 9/11." Now, he's headed to Broadway. And when DJ Arndt Peltner came to the U.S. from Germany 20 years ago, he was missing his favorite music on the radio — so he started the show Radio Goethe. Peltner joins us to hear some German rock and psychedelic music in the latest edition of our DJ Sessions. You can read and hear more at hereandnow.org, follow us on Twitter and join the conversation on Facebook and Tumblr.

This program aired on October 4, 2017.
