Native Hawaiians From The Mainland Participate In Prestigious Hula Festival For 1st Time

If you really want to sample authentic Hawaiian culture, you need to go to the annual Merrie Monarch Festival. It's the world's most prestigious hula competition and it gets underway this weekend. This year, a group from Washington state is competing that marks a first in the festival's 55-year history.
