Issues faced by people with disabilities haven't been a focus this election season. But some advocates are trying to change that. Host Peter O'Dowd speaks with one activist who's trying to get candidates to address issues relevant to people with disabilities. Also, Massachusetts father Paul Monti, who's son Jared was killed in Afghanistan in 2006, started Operation Flags For Vets in 2011. Here & Now's Alex Ashlock went to the Massachusetts National Cemetery where Operation Flags For Vets volunteers were placing flags on the graves for Memorial Day. And, decades after "Tootsie" hit the silver screen, Michael Dorsey is back in the updated musical comedy starring Santino Fontana. That and more, in hour one of Here & Now's May 27, 2019 full broadcast.
