Iran's supreme leader said Tuesday that the nation will "never" hold diplomatic talks with the U.S. unless the U.S. returns to the Iran nuclear deal that President Trump pulled out of last year.

The threat comes days after a weekend attack on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, with the U.S. now saying Iran is likely behind the attack. Here & Now's Tonya Mosley talks with Borzou Daragahi, international correspondent for The Independent.

This segment aired on September 17, 2019.
