Social Distancing Isolates Tech Workers, But Could Be Boon For The Industry

Tens, if not hundreds of thousands, of tech workers are among the many white-collar employees who have been sent home to work remotely while businesses try to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, some technology companies are getting a boost from the nationwide increase in remote working, as social distancing measures to control the outbreak have cemented trends toward e-commerce, online delivery services and streaming entertainment.
