Illinois is now under a stay at home order issued by Gov. J.B. Pritzker Friday. This comes as Pritzker and President Trump exchanged barbs over the federal government's coronavirus response.

Illinois is one of a growing list of states to declare shelter-in-place orders, including New York and California. The state has more than 1,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases, the majority of them in Chicago and surrounding areas.

WBEZ's Tony Arnold (@tonyjarnold) talks to host Jeremy Hobson about the latest from the state.

This segment aired on March 23, 2020.
