North Korea hasn't reported a single case of COVID-19 despite sharing a border with China, where the outbreak started. But the pandemic coincides with the absence of the country's leader, Kim Jon Un. He hasn't been seen in nearly three weeks, sparking rumors that he's sick or has died.

Host Robin Young speaks with Here & Now security analyst Jim Walsh (@DrJimWalshMIT) with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Security Studies Program.

This segment aired on April 29, 2020.
